Our dog Kendra is a border collie. She's been going to daycare once a week for over a year. She loves it! Don't say school around her unless it's time to go to Chucktown Charley's. She doesn't even bother to say "see ya" when we leave. The staff is very attentive to the dogs so you can take a break.

Waffles loves going to Chucktown Charley for playtime while I’m at work! He gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot, which is very reassuring when you are an overprotective “crazy” dog mom! The entire staff is very friendly and informative when needed!

Chucktown Charley is a great place to bring your four legged baby for daycare, grooming, training and boarding. They treat every dog as an individual and really pay attention to their needs. If your dog needs other dog attention, they will get it. If they prefer to play alone or just with people they will get that too! They don't just throw all dogs together and hope for the best. They work on training with your dog so there is mental stimulation along with the physical. They are flexible with hours, if you are running late every once in a while they understand! Can't say enough great things about this place!

Absolutely love Chucktown Charley! My dog Timber loves the staff and so do I! There is personalized care and staff members who love what they do. Unlike other facilities, two trained professionals conduct doggie daycare to make sure that the dogs have a safe and wonderful time. Your dog isn't just thrown into a situation like other places. I love this place and I would highly recommend it. A small business done right!

We adopted our Boston when she was 4 months old and I am extremely protective of her. Chucktown Charley was recommended to us by a friend for training. After meeting with Allison, I decided this would be who we got to train Olive, but I would not be letting her spend the night. I liked CTC so much, I drove 4 days a week twice a day from Mt. Pleasant to Johns Island! After seeing Olive learn so much and feel more and more comfortable there, I am happy to say, Olive has spent several nights with CTC! It is such a relief for me to have a place and people I trust with my baby! We could not be happier with our decision!

I have a deaf Great Dane named Piper who was in need of some socialization with other dogs. I chose Chucktown Charley for several reasons. The staff is wonderful with Piper and have learned some of her signs, she gets to socialize many times throughout the day, and daycare prices are very reasonable! I would highly recommend it for anyone needing care during the day.

Our pup has been going to Chucktown Charley since she was old enough to! We’ve done grooming, day care, and boarding services here. I know our pup loves it here because every time we pull into the parking lot she gets so excited and can’t wait to get inside! I did a lot of research before my husband and I chose Chucktown Charley for our sweet but energetic GSP puppy. We wanted him to get acclimated to a boarding / daycare facility at a young age so our lives would be easier any time we need to travel and to keep him stimulated during our work week. I was able to schedule a tour before we signed him up and was thrilled to see all the grass the dogs get to play in, how clean the facilities are, and how friendly all the staff members are.

My husband and I have been taking our two dogs to Chucktown Charley for a couple of years for boarding and grooming, and we think they’re the BEST!! We love that it is a smaller, boutique kennel and knowing that our two are receiving more personal, individualized care. This is especially important for our 10-year-old Lab, who has a number of chronic joint issues and Wobbler’s Syndrome. The staff always listens to our instructions and concerns, and takes extra-good care of him. Jack and Lucy are always very excited to go to Chucktown Charley, so we know they love being there! I have been blessed by the best dog trainer. Allison always patiently explains and demonstrates the techniques to help me with Reuben. After we learned the basics, she kept him for a month for intensive service training, I couldn't have left him if I didn't totally trust her. She provides the total package, obedience training, service dog training, boarding, daycare and grooming. When I pull into the parking lot Reuben can't wait to get out the car and when I open the door he doesn't look back!

I cannot say enough good things about Chucktown Charley. When my older dog began having some behavioral problems, there was not much help to be found. After exhausting all medical avenues, I was left wondering what next. Then I found Janie and her team. Their willingness to jump in and help was instant. After two weeks in daycare, he had turned around completely. Two years later, he still loves it and you can tell they love him too. They are THE BEST!

We have been taking our dog, CJ, to daycare at Chucktown Charley almost everyday for the past four years. Words can’t express how happy we are with the care and love that CJ receives everyday that she is there. My two dogs had a wonderful time at Chucktown Charley! The staff is so nice and you can tell they love playing with the dogs. Miles and Leo had never been to a kennel before so I was a bit apprehensive of the whole experience, but was quickly put at ease. Our dogs came back exhausted and happy from all their play time. We'll certainly be back!

Our dog Daisy has been coming here for years. My husband and I love to travel and Daisy loves coming here! She is so excited when we pull up in the kennel driveway and that makes us feel wonderful because we know she loves it here. They are so attentive and loving of our precious dog. We never have to worry that she is not having fun or being looked after. We drive all the way from Mount Pleasant to bring her here. It is worth the long drive!

Without a doubt, Chucktown Charley is the best doggie daycare center in Charleston. The staff, all of whom are well qualified, care for and nurture all the dogs. My dog, a rescue, had some big socialization issues. It's really amazing how he has flourished since he's been going to "day camp."
